Grid 56098 has been at Fleet Services on the M3 in Hampshire for about a week and a half now, now it is missing it's bogies and dropped onto wood packing and looking really out of place.

A day trip to South Wales taking in Cardiff, Ebbw Vale and Newport, with two friends from our Transport Club.

16th, A glorious day out in the company of Mr.T, at Didcot North Junction and Cholsey Manor Farm.

14th, first day out this month a trip to Pirbright to get "Tornado".

3rd A day out with my Grandson Brennan (see his page on this site) at Ruscombe and Shottesbrooke, and got 2 "59's".
12th Another attempt to get "The Flying Banana" on a very dull day @ Shottesbrooke and Twyford and it turned up this time and got it twice along with the usual for this stretch of the GWML.
18th @ Lower Basildon for a few hours joined by Graham from Didcot and later on by Mr T (Tony Callaghan).
27th am, out to Wokingham for the first leg of the Mid Hants Explorer, pm, a short drive to Crowthorne Station to catch the return trip of the Mid Hants Explorer this time with Nunney Castle in charge.

A Fortnight spent in Wales and Cornwall and was able to spend a couple of hours at each location, the first being Howton Court Crossing on the line between Abergavenny and Hereford and the second at Burngullow Junction on the cornish section of the GWML to keep a pre arranged meeting with young "Olly"

25th Shottesbrooke to see if the NMT was running but did not turn up but got 4 others

7th Shottesbrooke and Twford, usual sheds, Advenza Freights 47237 twice and the Royal Train.
27th A sunny day at Lower Basildon for a change..

Having had to attend a Regional AGM in Princess Risborough for another club I belong to, spent a spare hour on the ex GW/GC joint line it was cold, grey and only got "Turbo's"
A very cold day at Twyford only spent about 30 mins here then home to the warm

An hour spent at Ascot Station to catch what I was told was to be a WCR 47... what came along was somthing different plus a couple of other shots
